Description: the Freestylevibe sweater is knitted from the bottom up on circular needle size 9 mm and is assembly free. First knit the rib edge in garter knit and then knit with fairisle pattern in leftover yarn. The pattern is worked according to the diagram. After working the body from the bottom up to the armholes, work two sleeves also from the bottom up to the armholes. Then knit the sleeves together with the body and decrease continuously up over the chest to the neck. Shape the neck with turning needles and finally knit the collar with rib in garter stitch. Finally embroider text of your choice on the sweater.

Choice of size: (1) 2 (3) 4 (5) Freestylevibe sweater should not have a large range of motion (or postitive ease). The sweater is relatively thick and it will be too bulky if it is also oversized. That is, you should measure yourself around the chest or the widest point of your torso and choose the size that includes your chest measurement. If, like me, you measure 104-7 cm in chest measurement, depending on your shape and bra choice, then you should choose a size 4.

Yarn suggestion: The bottom colour is worked with 2 threads. 1 thread Brushed Wool from Hjertegarn (50 g = 150 sts), AND 1 thread hand dyed Chunky Alpaca from Knit Your Vibe (50 g = 140 sts) OR 1 thread Drops Melody (50 g = 140 sts).

The pattern is worked in leftover yarn. Loop length 50 g = 140/150 sts. If necessary, work with double or triple thread to achieve knitting tension. In some places I have deliberately knitted with too thick yarn, because I like the uneven texture you get.

Knitting tension: 10 x 10 cm = 11 sts x 16 rows on needle size 9 mm.

Sticks: Circular needle 8 mm and 9 mm 80 cm. Circular needle 8 mm 20 cm. Garter needles 8 and 9 if you are not using magic loop technique on sleeves.
