Description of Striped Vibe Tee

The following yarns are used in the pictures:
1. White tee: Amira color 0001 & Merino 400 Lace color 0094.
Black tee: Amira color 0004 & Merino 400 Lace color 0004.
2. White tee: Amira color 0001 & Baby Cotton color 0001.
All yarn from Lang Yarns.

Striped Vibe Tee is a short t-shirt knitted from the top down with raglan increases. The neck is shaped with short rows. The tee is knitted in stripes with two different yarn types; a thick and a thin quality. The stripes with the thin yarn quality are transparent. After the yoke is knitted, the sleeves and body are divided and the body and sleeves are knitted separately. The T-shirt is finished with ribbing. The sleeves are worked straight down and finished with a ribbed edge.

The Striped Vibe Tee is designed to have a range of motion of 3-18 cm and will give a little in use. You should therefore measure yourself and choose your size based on your chest measurement (or the widest part of your torso).

Yarn: Striped Vibe Tee is knitted alternately with a thick and a thin yarn quality.

Thick yarn:
Amira, 93% cotton, 7% nylon from Lang Yarns, 50 g/100m.

Thin yarn:
Baby Cotton, 100% cotton from Lang Yarns, 50g/180m.
OR
Merino 400 Lace, 100% merino from Lang Yarns, 25g/200m.

Needles:
6 mm circular needle in 40 and 100 cm.
5 mm circular needles 40 and 80 cm for rib at neck and bottom.
5 mm double-pointed needles for sleeve ribbing.
Stitch markers: 9 stitch markers, but make sure they are large enough to fit on a 6 mm needle.

Stripes: The T-shirt has stripes formed with one thick and one thin yarn. The stripes are formed with 4 rounds of the thick yarn and 2 rounds of the thin yarn throughout the t-shirt.

Gauge: 10 cm x 10 cm = 14 sts x 21 rows on 6 mm needles in stockinette stitch with stripes in thick and thin yarn after washing.
