Description of Striped Vibe Sweater
The Striped Vibe Sweater is worked from the top down with raglan increases. It is worked with a wrap or high neck and the neck is shaped with short rows. The sweater is knitted striped with two different yarn types; a thick and a thin quality. The stripes with the thin yarn quality are transparent. After the yoke is knitted, the sleeves and body are divided and the body and sleeves are knitted separately. The sweater is finished with ribbing. The sleeves are worked straight down and finished with a ribbed edge.

Thin yarn: Lace, 58% superkid mohair, 42% silk from Lang Yarns, 25g/310m.
Or in
Thick yarn: Boucle, 78% mohair, 13% merino and 9% nylon from Mohair by Canard, 100g/170m.
Thin yarn: Bruched Lace, 72% fine kid mohair, 28% mulberry silk from Mohair by Canard, 25g/210m.
Or, if you prefer
Thick yarn: Glory, 100% pure new wool from Wool Addicts by Lang Yarns, 50g/70m.
Thin yarn: Jawoll, 75% pure new wool, 25% polyamide from Lang Yarns, 50g/210m.

NOTE! About the Cloud yarn: Each skein is unique, so there may be significant color differences between skeins. You may choose to alternate 2 rounds with one ball and 2 rounds with another to even out the differences as with hand-dyed yarn. The models in the pattern are knitted with one ball at a time and the large color differences between the balls are accepted as part of the charm of the yarn. In addition, the Cloud yarn gives a lot with washing and use (about 10 cm in length on the work and some in width). Therefore, you may want to go down a size with this yarn. Cloud yarn also gives off a lot of color when washed.

Needles:
7 mm circular needle in 40 and 100 cm.
5 mm circular needles 40 and 80 cm for rib at neck and bottom.
5 mm double-pointed needles for sleeve ribbing.
Stitch markers: 9 stitch markers, but make sure they are large enough to fit on a 7 mm needle.

Stripes: The sweater has stripes shaped with one thick and one thin yarn. The stripes are formed with 4 rounds of the thick yarn and 2 rounds of the thin yarn throughout the sweater.

Gauge: 10 cm x 10 cm = 13 sts x 16 rows on 7 mm needles in stockinette stitch with stripes in thick and thin yarn. NOTE! Please note that the height of the swatch can be tricky, as the yarn bulges a little and contracts even when washed. As soon as the sweater is used and there is a little weight from the ribbing, the yarn and thus the sweater will stretch. It is not so important to hit the height on the swatch, as the pattern indicates cm to be knitted.
